I'd like to add another device to my 980 but can't figure out how to do it in this particular situation:

I currently have a device that spans an entire line across the top of of my display so that both buttons can be used to access that device. What I want to do is to split that line up so I can have two devices, one on the left and one on the right. I can't figure out how to add that additional device without erasing the current device.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If your device is using the IR database, it would be easiest to just delete the device and recreate it. Otherwise, you could create a new device and just copy the old device to it. Then delete the old device.

What you need to do is right click the button and uncheck "Combine Button". This then makes the button only use one of the buttons, either the right or the left. then you need to delete the button image for pressed and normal, not the IR or macro info, then import a new smaller button image for both pressed and normal. You can also go to thye image gallery and drag over a smaller button image and be sure to add in your buttons text name. Hope that helps. These are very complicated and time consuming remotes.
