Well, one of my 19-month old twin boys got my MX-850 and now it is only showing a blank screen. (I assume it is his fault, because it was working the last time I picked it up.) At first you could operate the remote with the "On" and "Off" buttons, but now that isn't working at all. The screen is entirely blank. I tried removing and re-installing the batteries, but no such luck. Any ideas what I should try? The store where we bought it was completely unhelpful, although we will be attempting to get help later this week. With Christmas on Tuesday, I don't think my chances are good! FYI, I don't have the software on my personal computer. The installer from the electronics store programmed the remote for me, so I am unfortunately helpless and the owner's manual gives next-to-zero information. I appreciate any suggestions!

About the only thing you could try at this point would be a reset by holding down the main and stop buttons.
