Had an upgrade to some equipment and needed to update the unit. After making the software changes via the Editor, I have been unable to have the remote be recognized as connected to the PC to download the updates. I have tried multiple cables, but still no connection. This is a first for me. Any ideas/suggestions?

try opening the driver for the mx3000. this has worked for me in the past.

go to my computer, C drive, program files, universal remote, Mx3000, Drivers.

this should work

Try plugging the cable into the mx-3000 while it is on it's charging base.

may sound dumb, but make sure that the MX-3000 is lit (not in sleep mode) when you connect the usb cable.

Tried the last two suggestions, but to no avail. Following Lee's suggestion, I don't have a Drivers subfolder in the MX3000 folder? There is a Usb subfolder, but not the driver? I'm stumped. The Usb cable is in wokring order (works fine for other devices).

Hello - when this has happened on occasion I have had to deinstall and reinstall the MX-3000 software. This does not affect your files. If you search the forums I think you will find the same answer.
