I have two ir distribution set ups but I want to try an rf with a plasma set up for a new application.

I have an mx 900 to experiment with but I want investigate which RF receiver I should start with for fairly straight forward applications. 4 emitters is enough. But I wonder since the 260 doesn't have a seperate antenna, is it difficult to get it out of interference range for good reliability compared to the 350 with the separate antenna?

It will be working with a DirTV HR 20, Onkyo 605 Rcvr, Pioneer 5080 Plasma, and Tosh HD DVD A 30. They are all in a wood cabinet.

Thanks.

We always try to sell the 350 over the 260. That way if you have interference in the equipment area you only have to extend one antenna instead of multiple emitters. On a side note just installed my first 260 this monday and so far so good.

The 350 has HELLA range man....we experimented with a remote and our cell phones turning on and off a TV at the shop one day and I walked all the way around our huge brick building then down the street a good hundred yards or so. It never missed a lick.

Andrew, that's my point. How likely or how often do you run into the kind of problem where the 260 has to be 'inconveniently' moved? I am my coustomer so I am paying. Does the equipment listed come with any known rf interference history?

Thanks

I'd go with the 350. It's better to be safe than sorry.
