I'm hoping someone can provide some insight to a problem I recently encountered with my TX-1000 remote. The four buttons on the left side of the remote (power off, channel up, channel down and previous channel) stopped working. I put in new batteries and reloaded the program but neither corrected the problem. The buttons worked went I shut down all the equipment and then the next day, they were not working. The four buttons don't beep when pressed (all other buttons still beep when pressed).

The remote is 5 months old and great condition, it was not dropped or damaged in any way (kids are grown up and out of the house :o)! )... any thoughts on what it could be?

I have created a work-around by coping and pasting the commands for these buttons onto the touch screen, but this is a pain as you have to scroll through the pages to get back to these buttons I programmed.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
