I am trying to get the editor software from the update page and have looked under my batteries to get the serial number. My serial number looks something like R013.1.5.VX#. Is this the correct format of the serial number?

I think I bought this unit from Tweeter a couple of years ago. I had the software at one point, but have since lost it in computer changes.

Does anyone have any suggestions on this?

Thanks,
Bill

I am not familiar with that format but I would try entering the sn as KR 01315 01315. I am not sure if this will work but it is worth a try. You can additionally try entering different letter options from the drop down menu if KR does not work.

Thanks, so far no luck. But I'll keep trying.

Try adding an extra 0 (KR 001315 001315); I believe the sn should be 12 digits. As I stated earlier I am not familiar with your sn format.

I read in this thread that there should be a white sticker in the battery compartment. I don't have this sticker. The number that I'm seeing is R03.1.5VX4, it's embossed into the black plastic.

Does this make any sense?

Yes, there should be a white sticker with the serial number in the battery compartment. I highly doubt that Tweeter would remove the s/n (unlike Eb*y sellers) so you must have lost it. The first time I replaced the batteries in my MX-900 I almost lost mine, it stuck to one of the batteries. Your best bet is to contact either Tweeter or perhaps URC.

URC sent me a link to the software. I'm up and running. Thanks.
