My recommendation is to pretend that you never used JP1, and read the instructions. Most people use a combination of RM and IR, and that is explained in the Just How Easy Is It post. www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewtopic.php.

You can and should use the latest released versions of both IR and RM. There is no need to use KM at all.
