>>I've had a URC-9910 sitting on the shelf that i'd like to bring into service.<<

Resuming the quest to bring my URC9910 to life...

I've made a valid up and download with the current IR.exe and an old serial (that's the 32 pin fitting, right?) cable connection. Now i'm ready to prepping a spreadsheet to hold codes for my current av components, right?

But I don't have Excel so KM is out.

I downloaded RM but the current version looks like it a complete replacement for IR.exe - and that's a dead-end for me cuz i'm not getting valid connection from within RM's interface test.

I find I can run an older version of RM but now i'm going to have to juggle years old versions of the .exe and the issue of forward compatibility. Before I get too far down that rabbit hole, should I?

what's the best route to finding and old enough version of RM that it's just the spreadsheet prepper - but still have access to the current gen of av equipment. - are newer KM files going to be happy within older RM executables?

thx
