I'm looking for some input on controlling a front yard water feature (waterfall pump). Currently the feature is controlled via a hard wired mechanical timer.

My client wants to get control of this so we can add the feautre to a party scene along with getting better control to cut down on energy costs.

I've got an XP-8 and along with a Lutron Chronos (Radio RA). It looks like the timer is rated to 24amps. I'm waiting for confirmation from the company that put the pump in as to it's actual draw, but wanted to see what you guys are doing to contol these water features?

I was thinking of using a RA Switch, but it's only rated to 8 amps, and the Lutron Power Boosters I think can only get me up to 16 amps. Is there an easier way? Maybe a Lutron Switch switching a relay?

I appreciate any input.

Jeff
