Damn you... Which version?

I am picking up the 2.8L soon, I can't afford the IS version, so just the 2.8 will do lovely, I have a gig coming up in April at Citi Field.

I was saving up for the 2.8L IS mark II, but that lens will be over $2000 bucks when it comes out.

Daniel, how is the 100mm macro treating you? You using it for product shots yet?

Stamp, I have the 17-40L now, which is my most used lens, but it doesn't offer a whole lot of better coverage than the 18-55, so if you are in the market for a lens about $600 bucks or so, and really need an UWA lens, I would look into the 10-22, which is an amazing lens. My good friend has it for wedding stuff & it rocks!

I will tell you this though, the 17-40 is at least 3x's better in Image Quality than the 18-55, if that matters.

The 55-250IS is a great lens, I am picking it up for my father in-law for his birthday, its pretty versatile.

Any notable shots yet, worth showing?
