Heres what I got.

1. Samsung 700DXN-2
2. RTI RP6 (existing)
3. RTI T2C (existing)
4. RTI CM232. (existing)

For some unknown reason, samsung decided to not provide a full set of IR discretes, I have On, Off and the Magic Net (on board windows processor). Client was not happy with the workaround/delay issues caused by using magic net as an anchor, not to mention it looks janky.

Switched to Serial via CM232. I am unable to pass any commands onto the display. Have tried the following (straight off of Samsung's documentation)

"$AA,$11,$FE,$01,$01,$11" // POWER ON
"$AA,$11,$FE,$01,$00,$10" // POWER OFF
"$AA,$14,$FE,$01,$15,$28" // RGB INPUT
"$AA,$14,$FE,$01,$01,$14" // VIDEO 1 INPUT

Have tried with a straight thru cable (recomended by samsung) Null modem (recomended by RTI) tried baud rates from 9600 on up to 12,200

Display is set to default address, commands are being sent to correct port on RP6, commands are correct according to both Samsung and the AMX programmer who I bounced this dilemma off of.

In another words everything is SUPPOSED to be correct, yet it ain't working....

What am I missing??
I am a trained professional..... Do not attempt this stunt at home.
