I taped over the emitters with electrical tape to prevent any reflections, etc. In front of the IR eye on the cable box is a thick piece of clear plastic (prob 1/4") which the IR signal would normally travel through. My emitter is not going through this and is to the side of the eye. Could this be this issue?
