It's not too bad. Except for the checksum.
9600 8-n-1
Each string is 7 HEX bytes long:
02 04 F4 40
ZONE
00 =Zone 1
01 =Zone 2
02 =Zone 3
03 =Zone 4
.....
0B =Zone 12
FF =ALL Zones
SOURCE
00 =Source Off
01 =Source 1
02 =Source 2
03 =Source 3
.....
0C =Source 12
CHECKSUM
100h - the sum of 04+F4+40+ZONE+SOURCE
For example, to switch source 1 into zone 1 the string would be
02 04 F4 40 00 01 C7
