I've done a few of them, the performance is topnotch. Fast!
The IR input on the back works with some kludging (do a search, it's around here somewhere). I've put an emitter on the last few... even though it's not my first choice.
The RS232 model costs a little extra, and I haven't had an opportunity to do the control via 232.
