Just in case anyone missed the posts in the Vista thread, ProntoProEditNG works just fine with 64-bit Windows 7 with some simple steps.

1. Go to [Link: microsoft.com] and follow the instructions to download and install the three pieces in the order indicated in the instructions (the third piece makes it work on CPUs without virtualization capabilities).

2. Run an XP Mode virtual machine, and install ProntoProEdit on it.

3. When you attach the remote, Windows 7 won't know what to do. In the XP Mode virtual machine, use the USB menu to attach "Unknown Device"

4. You'll be prompted to install the driver. Click OK and you may get a message looking for PRONTO2G.sys. Browse and point it at Program Files/Philips/Drivers/Win2KXPME.

5. Upload and download to the remote. Yay!

I just finally updated my 7500 for the first time since my last 32-bit Vista computer died a few months ago. So nice to be able to change things again!
