Hi. Make sure you have high 85-95 signal strengths and running BOTH tuners. Low signal strengths can definitely bog down the DVR's processor. Also, I have read that having Ethernet connected to it can speed up it's response as well.
Not sure how it behaves it you're using SWM. Have a blessed day.
