In regards to your question about step 8 of my installation guide, I would like to give you following precisions:

In order for your timer that you have set and underlied with actions, such as function-on for your satellite box to work if your device is on page "home", you will have to copy this line of code:
eval(CF.widget("Code", "TimerCode", "Timer").label)

into the page properties - advanced and set the time to "repeat every 30 seconds".

If the timer wants to be able to control from other pages than you will have to do the same for those other pages, too.

I am not sure I understood your question in all aspects and hope you will find this useful.

@all: Would you find a timer function, which allows you to trigger timer based on daylight (sunrise and sunset) useful?
