WUTV and MyTV now that they've shown us the diff between HD and SD I wish they would use those subchannels for something interesting.
WUTV did do something I never thought of with their sub-channel once: With Obama giving a State of the Union address on 29-1, a brand new epsiode of House aired on 29-2. So...if you're not interested in what the president has to say, regular progamming isn't too far away.
And if a station like WPXJ can have three sub channels why couldn't another station offer up their programming on three sub-channels, but one hour later than the previous one? Similar to a time-shifting feature, but on a very local scale.
For example: If Your station carries Family Guy at 7:PM on channel XX-1 the same epsiode would reboradcast at 8:PM on Channel XX-2 and again at 9 on XX-3 and 10:PM on XX-4.
It's something unique that you'd probably never see happen. Most likely the reason...cost.
