Is there a true difference with HDMI cables? I wanted to purchase a cable recently so my son could hook up his XBOX to our HDTV. I remember these cables costing $75 and up for only a 1 meter length a few years ago and was kinda shocked when I found they were still pricey ($35 and up at Best Buy). A friend hooked me up with a 3 dollar cable (off Ebay) that did the trick. I'll probably go the same route when I purchase a DVD upconvert player in a few weeks. I don't want to loose picture quality, but at the same time my (non-pro) setup only consists of a $400 32" Dynex TV and the cable only needs to be 1 meter in length. Welcome all comments.. .
