Hello,

I have configured and added all devices to my remote setup with the default values. The LCD TV, AV-Receiver and PS3 make up my whole setup.

I have the following queries/problems for which I would appreciate all the guidance:

1. Initially I encountered problems when configuring an activity with sequence of Turning on the PS3, AV-receiver and LCD TV. In this the PS3 and AV-Receiver is turned on but somehow the LCD is not turned on correctly via the 'PowerToggle' command.

I suppose that has got something to do with the infrared timings of the signal firing from the harmony 880. But there are timing settings with 3 options for each device and I am not sure what are the optimal safe values which I should change for all the things to start correctly with a brief pause ( so that the infrared signal should not get jumbled up making device not to respond ). Should I use the send pause for "xxx seconds " command in the activity menu for doing so.

2. Similarly I also got the Logitech Harmony Adapter for PLAYSTATION 3 when i bought the Harmony 880. Everything seems to work except that the fact it cannot correctly power off my PS3. It is widely touted everywhere that it is able to do so , but in my case it shows the power off menu, scrolls down once scrolls up once and then goes back to the main XMB menu in Playstation 3.

Instead it should do is that it should press the "PS" button for while, then when the resulting screen is shown it should press the "Circle/Enter" button once and then once again to the turn-off/standby the PS3.

I tried to modify this behavior of the PS3 power off command, but I don't know how to do it. Since i believe it imports the commands from its logitech online database. I tried to choose the option to change the power on and off behavior of the device in the devices menu, and then selected the option to have more than once command to power off the device and then correctly entered all the keys in sequence needed to fire to turn off the PS3. But somehow it doesnt modify the behavior of the standard 'PowerOff' command already imported in the database.

Can someone who has experimented with a similar setup guide me how to get my problems solved, before thinking that it all is the money spent in vain to buy Harmony and PS3 Adapter with it :-).

Best Regards,
