I meant the PQ when playing standard def DVD. I did some editing and must've deleted the part where I said about it being SD DVD's. Yes BD can technically have better PQ then HD DVD when they use a clean master and proper encoding. I'm dealing with the Sony, Samsung, and Sharp BD players on an almost daily basis right now due to the problems of them freezing up. Most of the problems are trying to play SD DVD's not BD titles. Granted I've sent two or three HDA3's back in the last two months, out of about 15 sold. I have a PS3 and yes until the latest firmware it was being troublesome but it's a gaming system so I can understand it having problems.
