Question is no longer relevant. The software was released
on Philips web site today.
And for some of those other questions
- the file format is XCF
- PCFs can be imported into the software but the images
look so tiny
- there is now a SuperHex format for IR codes

Everyone, please download and read the Troubleshooting section of the Help PDF. There are some tips there regarding alignment that you will want to know.
