Actually, I had planned on going go to Radio Shack as you suggest. However, when I mentioned that to my custom installer, he said that that sort of thing wouldn't work because of "serial" versus "parellel" wiring issues. I'll go pick it up and try it.

I won't plan on putting 4 emitters on a cable. I would just like to have two for each port.

I would hook up more of my devices by serial. I bought the cables and have been prepared to do so. I hooked up my Marantz DV9600 DVD player by serial and it works great. However, I'm new to this serial programing. The commands were pretty straightforward for the Marantz. However, the documentation for the serial programming for some of the other devices is a little complex for me to sort out.
