I continued to have serious problems maintaining a wifi connection despite everything I tried with my existing dlink access point. I was beginning to see the message "command failed" in my sleep. I replaced my access point with a Linksys WAP54GX access point. Now it works great. I have had no connection problems in the 5-6 days since I installed it. It looks like this remote is going to work out well.
