I have a TSU9600 with and RFX9400.

1. Communication is instantaneous - there is no waiting for a connection.
2. There is no blasting - you have to use stick on emitters. It comes with 2 dual emitters which can control 4 devices. It can take 4 dual emitters for 8 devices. However, I believe you can buy Xantech components to take it beyond 8 devices.
3. Your existing NG is plain RF; the RFX9400 is WiFi - they cannot talk to each other.
