I don't know if there's a side by side comparison. The RC9800i is not PC uploadable/downloadable. All the other prontos are. The TSU9600 is wifi-based RF extender capable where the older Pronto remotes (excluding 9800i) used a proprietary RF protocol. The 9600 has a full VGA screen (640x480x64Kcolors) where the older Prontos have a QVGA (quarter VGA) (320x240x16colors or 64Kcolors).
