Yes, I set the 1,2 3, switch to setting 1 (just for the heck of it, I also tried setting 2), and in PEP to channel setting 1. I had the other settings/switches configured for standalone mode.
I'll definitely update the firmware on both units.

Can you please send me the trainer's email & phone #s? I seem to have misplaced his card.
