I am currently using Xlobby with my 9600.

You will need the Xremote plugin on Xlobby. You will need a USBUIRT. You will assign an IR code to each functions you want to control in Xlobby and then program the same code on a button on the 9600.

My programming is fairly simple. I programmed the arrow keys of the PC (up -down - left- right) as well as the enter key, escape keys and a few others. I navigate on screen with Xlobby and select the menus I need. Simple yet efficient.
