I can confirm that this works on the MX900, as I just tried it with several macros today. It's odd, though - when in macro-learning mode, buttons that have macros associated with them don't show up with an "M" ... rather, they're blank, like an unassigned button.

However, selecting the macro button does call the nested macro during the "calling" macro's execution.
