The MRF needs to be on an ID other than "0" to enable individual IR routing. On "0", all emitters receive any command from the remote. The 850's not going anywhere for awhile and it will work with an MRF-350, it's just that the narrow band RF of the other remotes above it will give you better reliability of RF performance.
