I think the sound file would be tough but to display a message after 10 seconds could be done with a gif as the backround image. It would end up cycling between the two background screens but it could be done. I have used some long wav files before but I'm pretty sure it is locked while they are playing, you'll have to try it. If it doesn't you can make a long wav file with 10 seconds of silence before the message.
