Yes, you turn the output on the MRF-300 all the way down with the 10-250. Works great with the new MRF-350 as well.
I usually ask potential customers if they have a 10-250, so I can tell them that they
have to get an MRF-300. With a 250, I had to not only use tape, but also move the emitter away from the IR receiving eye as AZ Installer mentioned.
