If I were your son I would first call Tweeter Customer Service (they are an authorized dealer) at 866-690-2370 and ask about the MX Software. If they cannot assist you I would immediately contact URC at 800-901-0800 and explain the situation. At a minimum I would believe that URC should be able to put your son in contact with the right person at Tweeter.
