Thanks for the response.

The only problem I have encountered with switching to the "no sub" option is that I have to turn "Source Direct" off and let the receiver (Marantz SR7200) process the signals. When doing this, I have experienced a noticeable sound quality reduction.

In source direct mode, my LFE is automatically off and the signal from the source (cd player, dvd player, etc...) is clean. Am I doing something wrong to cause this noticeable sound difference when not in "Source Direct" mode on my receiver settings?
