I'm new to this forum and have read it with great interest. There is a Marantz RC5000i remote control available near me and I wanted to get some words of wisdom on this unit. I read the review, but at this point in my rc use the units appears to be more sophisticated than I am (I only want to use it to control my pre-amp, cd trasnport and tuner). I guess what I'm trying to ask is how long has this product been on the market, is it obsolete and have owners been please with its performance? Thanks in advance for any comments, suggestions and recommendations.
