You're on the right track, if you want a remote that can be programmed via the web. However, their programming capabilities are very limiting. You can not have a truly "customized" remote. They set up the program based on what they believe is best for you, even if you don't want it that way.

If you want something that is more flexible and that you can customize, check out the Universal Remote Control MX-900. That remote is one of the best overall values.

If you don't mind the Harmony programming limitations, their prices are a bit lower.
