Not entirely correct. The Euro RF marketplace has a lot of gizmos to get to a solution, versus the US marketplace. The 433 mhz RF standard in Europe, etc. is prevelant while there is no prevelant RF standard in the US.

There are ways to get RF codes and put them into a some remotes. You may have to add an intemediate product to control the end product but many good reports from Europe on RF capabilities. I assume they will work in Australia?

Do a search in the Pronto NG forum about RF and pay particular attention to the UK postings.
