Very good choice. All Harmony remotes are very user friendly and easy to program. The only difference between the 880 and 890 is that the 890 is also RF, so if you don't need that stick with the 880. Another option is the 720, or if you want something cheaper look at the 550. It is just as powerful/functional as the 880 or 720, but without the color screen and rechargeable battery.
