Hi, I joined this forum just to add my coments to this question.

I have owned the RC9800i For just over a year, I have had 2 replacements already from Philips and I am still having problems. The remote keeps crashing and locking up for no reason, I have not been able to fix this despite my best attempts.

I am waiting for philips to deside if they are going to refund me or give me an upgrade.

I would not recomend this remote as it is not supported by philips and most of the people there don't even now it is one of there products...
