Your comment made me think of something else.

there is no way to make a button with two lines of text.

the work arounds are
a) make a button where the text is part of the bitmap icon
b) divide the bitmap icon in two and then have two buttons that look like one (this is the method I have used.

with the transparency you could actually use two frames and a single button on top that is mostly transparent.
