The tap sound which comes when you press the LCD
and buttons can be controlled by the settings.
To do it, click on the activity icon (the one
before the device overview button). It will take
you to the settings page. Use PageDown to goto
the second page where you can control the sound
settings.
If you feel that the animations are slow, you
can turn them off also using the settings in the
same page so that your pronto responds faster.

First. The "TAP" sound comes from the hardware. The sound you are refering to is a "BEEP" wich I have turned OFF in the software settings. Everytime you press a hard button you hear this "TAP" twice, one when you press the button and another when you let go the hardbutton.

And the hard buttons are realyy hard. You have to press them strong enough to make them preform the action.

Second. I am not talking about animations, wich I have set to OFF. It is the overall performance of the remote. It is slow. When I press a button, the action is not performed instantaneously (a jump, an IR command). Even sending IR commands are slow in macros.

Anyway I think the speed of the remote may be fix by a firmware?

alsuba: do you have this remote? maybe you can share your thoughts...

Willy.
