I just got my 3000 today. After using the 2000 for almost two years, I expected a lot from the 3000. I'm sad to say that first impressions were really low. The cheap display and the flush buttons really bummed me out. Don't know why they aren't using rubber buttons and something in between so you can feel the different buttons, which I usually do in the dark. Plus the screen is a bit weak for what I was expecting.
Like I said, I just got it and haven't played around with it yet. I still don't understand how Palm and PocketPC devices are so small powerful and yet Philips keeps giving us bricks. I thought this was going to feel a bit better in my hands. The only real noticable positive is the weight. Definitely lighter, but it probably has to do with using AAA batteries rather than AA.
The new software looks a bit intimidating at first. I'll have to give it a day before I start playing around with it. Can't wait to try this thing out.
