Most manufacturers use the same Device ID and common functions across all models of a particular device type. For example, TVs. However, there may be differences where discrete codes are concerned.

I'm just curious as to how you are going to spend hours trying each code?

There are exactly 37 codes listed in the link below for samsung. Two models support 14, one 9.

Put all these codes into a single CCF/PCF, download to the remote and try them out. That simple. No need to dig through PCFs or CCFs.

If you find that these don't work, you will need to post a learned Power Toggle Code here and one of us (John Fine or myself) can tell you how to use Makehex to generate a full set.

But, if you don't want to spend the time to do this, I'll gladly hop on a plane to LA to learn em for you, provided you buy the round-trip ticket. Heck, I'd even split the cost with you just to be able to look up Ernie Gillman. ;)
