love your member name. It is one of the few that have made me laugh out loud. Then I had this odd urge to spit....

I have used several of the 6000s and have not had any problems after initial setup. Initial setup problems seem to have been solved by changing the switch settings. I am not sure why, and think maybe the switches just weren't making good contact and needed to be rotated to get into their groove, literally.

The other product sounds like it has some good ideas to receive the signal even better, but you will probably do well with the 6000.
