I've customized my Pronto with many of the ccf's found here and it's been working great, through many gear upgrades, for about 2 years now.

A change in physical HT arrangement and the yearn to put outdoor speakers, etc, leads me to try the RF band. I have the RF / IR module ([Link: remotecentral.com]) on order and was wondering if anyone had any sage adivce for someone who is basically done with the programming, but might have to eventually also "learn" commands via IR.

1) will the initial switch to RF be seamless? (meaning all my codes will still work coming out of the [Link: remotecentral.com]) - or did you have any funky stuff happen?

2) If need to "learn" some codes from my other remotes, can they be pointed at the RF/IR repeater (and the code will go to the Pronto via RF), or am i better off switching the pronto back to IR and putting it directly in learn mode and the 2 remotes head to head?

Thanks,

Fernando
