If the current model works, call MITS customer service and ask if they have a "firmware upgrade" for your unit. I recently upgraded my firmware on the WD62725 as a no-charge from MITS. They send you a memory card with instructions. You plug it in, upgrade, then mail it back to them prepaid in their own envelope.
