Thank you for all the information on this, it came in very handy. I successfully replaced the glass from PDAparts and the Pronto worked great..

However, two weeks later, I pressed hard (I didn't think it was hard, but... ) on the center of the screen and it created hairline fractures in three directions and I'm right back where I started.

The question I have is that it appears as if this must have been caused by the glass sitting too high away from the LCD piece (for added support). Should I have removed the adhesive it came with and used a thinner piece?

Anyone else have a similar problem? I'm sure it's something I did, but before I purchase another glass piece, I just wanted to gather opinions on those who have already replaced it and if they did it any differently than the instructions indicated.
