I was able to open the 7000 files in the Pronto NG and paste them into the 3000 file. However, if the 7000 files are png, you will not be able to use png transperance, because 3000 does not have that option. Once the 3000 file is exported the buttons will be displayed in black and white. You can always convert the buttons to greyscale and then import them to ProntoNG.
