I can't reliably control Windows Media Center with my Pronto over RF. Guests can't figure out how to use it because it sometimes does and sometimes does not respond to button presses. This problem has been bugging me for a long time and I've tried everything to fix it without success.

Here's my setup:
*Pronto TSU-7500
*Pronto RFX-6000 RF extender (yeah, the old one)
*Windows Media Center 2005 with Microsoft IR receiver
*Codes from Philips Database, codes from other PCF files on Remote Central

What Goes Wrong:
If I use the Microsoft IR remote, it works great. If I use the Pronto in IR mode, it works great. If I use the Pronto in RF mode - it takes several button presses (or actually pressing and holding the button) for Media Center to recognize a command.

What I've tried:
*Different codes from different PCF files. No effect - all basically seem to be have the same codes.

*Using TweakMCE to enable "Universal Remote Control" within Windows Media Center. No effect.

*Changing the Code Duration: I tried multiple durations. A 0.4-to-0.6 second duration seemed to be correct, but they would cause a double button press about half the time. So it's either too short to register at all, or long enough to register but occasionally cause a double-button press. I kept changing the duration so it would be give only a single press, but never found a setting that consistently worked as a single press every day. Plus, a 0.6 second duration makes everything happen very slowly.

I don't understand why RF control works perfectly for all devices except Windows Media Center. And I don't understand why IR control works for Media Center, but stops working when I switch it to RF. It doesn't seem like an upgrade to an RFX-6500 would help, since all other components work fine over the 6000.. If anyone has a solution that works, please let me know. Thanks!
