I found the RC thread ([Link: remotecentral.com]) where this issue is discussed. Seems the culprit may be MSXML. I haven't tried to fix it yet, but I think I know what happened. I recently downloaded and installed Microsoft's program "Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor" that is supposed to test a PC to see if it can run Vista. In the process, it installed a new version of MSXML (I don't remember which one).

BTW, adding insult to injury, I couldn't get the Microsoft Vista test program to run. :-((
